IV Therapy Near Lantana: Which Drip, and Mobile IV
IV therapy has gotten popular enough around Lantana that you've probably seen a drip bar sign or two. The questions we hear most are simple ones. Which drip should I get? How long does it take? Will you really come to my house? Here are straight answers from a med spa a few minutes away in Argyle.
What IV therapy is
An IV drip delivers fluids and vitamins straight into a vein through a small catheter in your arm. You sit in a reclining chair while the bag runs. Depending on the drip, that's 30 to 60 minutes. Bring a book, or don't. A lot of people just close their eyes.
We keep it simple and we don't make big promises about what a drip will do for you. What we can tell you is exactly what's in each bag, so you can pick the one that fits your week.
Which drip should you pick?
Here's the menu in plain terms.
- Myers' Cocktail ($195, about 45 minutes): B-complex, B12, vitamin C, glutathione, magnesium and zinc. If you don't know which one to book, book this one.
- Super Myers' ($295, about 60 minutes): the same formula at higher doses.
- Immune Blast ($225, about 45 minutes): high-dose vitamin C, glutathione and zinc. People tend to book it when everyone at the office is coughing.
- Beauty drip ($195, about 45 minutes): B-complex, B12, high-dose biotin and glutathione, for hair, skin and nails.
- Power Up ($195, about 45 minutes): an amino blend, L-carnitine and taurine on top of the B vitamins. Popular during training weeks and long weekends.
- Gold drip ($175, about 40 minutes): B-complex and B12 with your choice of vitamin C or glutathione.
- Basic drip ($150, about 30 minutes): B-complex and B12. Fluids plus the essentials.
There's also the Hallelujah shot ($225). It isn't a drip. It's a steroid and B12 shot people book during allergy season, and you're in and out in about fifteen minutes.
Mobile IV: yes, we'll come to you
This is the part people in Lantana ask about most. Mobile IV means any drip on the menu, brought to your home or office. It covers Argyle and the surrounding area, and plenty of our Lantana clients use it. A Saturday morning after a long week. The morning after the lake house. A day when getting in the car sounds like too much.
A mobile visit runs about an hour. We quote the drip and the travel when you book, so you know the total before anyone heads your way.
If you'd rather come to us, the suite is at 250 US Hwy 377, Suite 125, in Argyle. The chairs recline, there's a blanket, and nobody's rushing you out the door.
Before your first drip
A few practical things make the visit easier:
- Eat something beforehand and drink some water.
- Have a list of the medications you take and any health conditions. We'll ask anyway, but it saves time.
- Wear a top with sleeves you can push up.
Your first visit includes a few questions about your health before the drip starts. It's routine, it doesn't take long, and it's how we make sure the bag you picked is a sensible one for you.
IV therapy isn't for everyone, and that's fine. If a drip isn't a good idea for you that day, we'll tell you.
What about weight loss and hormones?
People who come in for a drip often ask about these. We do offer medical weight loss programs and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). Both start with a provider consultation, and BHRT starts with labs. That's on purpose. Neither one is something to start without someone looking at the whole picture first. Book the consultation and we'll go over the options and what they cost.
How often can you get a drip?
It depends on the drip and on you, so we'd rather talk it through than throw out a number. Some people come in once before a big event or a hard training block. Others like a regular visit. Ask at your appointment and you'll get a straight answer for your situation.
